The Treatment:  I offer a 2 + hour full body massage. I always encourage my clients to have their massage sessions at their own home. This is for their convenience and maximum relaxation. There are no additional charges if it is within a 30 min drive time from me. I suggest clients schedule their appointment 3 hours before their normal bedtime. After the massage, they can shower or take a bath, then retire for the night. This allows their body to have proper time to assimilate and benefit from all the work. However, I also have an office space available if desired.

 

Treatment Goals: All massage styles are intended to benefit the body through manipulation, stimulation and relaxation. Modern styles tend to have a specific focus. Body parts / sections and muscle bellies are often the focal point of a session. The old Ayurvedic approach addresses the body as a whole. This style focuses on connecting the body with integration and long strokes, stimulating circulation and gives extra attention to the joints and ligament attachments.

It is highly beneficial for people who have chronic pain, overwork their bodies, and those who hardly move their bodies. It is relaxing to the mind and body while kickstarting energetic flow. The result is both immediate and long lasting. Long term goals for clients include a deeper understanding of their own individual bodies, where they hold stress and how to address it on their own.
